We had the best day at Australia Zoo. The animal encounters were definitely the highlight for us, we did the koala photo and also fed a giraffe, and oh my gosh my kids were losing their minds in the best way. The staff were really lovely too, like super kind and not rushing us at all, which makes such a difference. Also, the animals looked really well cared for, and the keepers clearly knew so much, but they explained everything in a really normal, easy-to-understand way. Anyway, the kids were still talking about it the entire drive home. It is a bit expensive, not going to lie, but for the memories and the day we had, I feel like it was worth it. Would absolutely go back again

I booked my tickets online it was smooth. The whole process was fast, everything worked like it should, and I didn’t run into any issues. Nothing fancy, but definitely a solid experience

What we got was decent enough and the service was fine, no real complaints there. Next time I’d probably just pack a few snacks or something to save a bit

The animal views were really great, and I genuinely enjoyed that part of the visit. That said, I did have a little doubt about the overall quality in some areas—it just felt like a few things could be better maintained. Still, seeing the animals up close was definitely a highlight.

The shows were really fun, and the animals looked like they were well cared for, which was nice to see. The only thing is, like, the seats filled up fast, so I’d definitely try to get there a little early if you want a decent spot

We stopped by the Australia Zoo gift shop after our visit and it was fun to have a look around, the kids enjoyed checking out all the toys and souvenirs and there were definitely some nice bits in there, but the prices felt a bit high for what you actually get. We only ended up grabbing a small toy and a magnet because anything more felt like it would add up way too quickly, the quality seemed fine and everything looked cute enough, but if you’re trying to stick to a budget it’s probably not the best value. It was okay overall, I just expected a little better.

I went on a really busy day and expected to spend most of my time stuck in queues, but it was way better than I thought. Getting in was smooth, the lines kept moving, and even the food queues didn’t annoy me too much. The staff seemed to know what they were doing and kept everything flowing. It made my day a lot less stressful, which I really appreciated.

We went to Australia Zoo and the Crocoseum show was probably the best bit for us. The croc feeding was super exciting, and the keepers explained everything in a really easy, no-fuss way. Only reason I’d go 4 stars is because it got packed and finding a decent seat took a little while. Still, we had a really good time and I’d definitely go again

Visited Australia Zoo last month and had a great time. Was really impressed by how clean everything looked, and the animals seemed to have plenty of space. Staff came across like they genuinely cared, not just showing up for a paycheck. Talks were respectful and actually interesting too. Felt good supporting a place that seems to take animal welfare seriously.

I’m not sure if I just caught it on a really good day, but everything seemed super clean. The animal enclosures looked like they were planned out well, with enough space and plenty of shade, at least from what I could tell. It didn’t have that cramped or smelly feeling I’ve noticed at some other zoos. It was also really easy to walk around, which made the whole visit more relaxing.

I was able to find the tickets I needed, so that part was fine. But the pages were loading slow, which got a bit frustrating after a while. Not terrible, just not the smoothest experience.

I really enjoyed checking out the site, especially how much they talk about helping wildlife, not just the usual zoo stuff. It feels like they really care about the animals, and their habitats, which I appreciated. The info was easy to find, too, and it definitely made me want to visit one day.

We had to cancel our Australia Zoo tickets at the last minute, which felt like it could turn into an avoidable headache, but it was actually really straightforward. You can tell the keepers genuinely care about the animals, and they shared loads of info without making it feel like a classroom. My kids were still talking about it afterwards, which pretty much says it all. I ended up learning more than I expected, and the whole place felt really well organised. Definitely somewhere I’d go back to.

I had a quick question before booking and, compared to most places I’ve dealt with, they got back to me really fast. The team was helpful, easy to talk to, and made the whole thing feel simple.

I was surprised by how nice the food was here. I didn’t expect much from a zoo cafe, but the coffee was hot, the chips were fresh, and the kids were really happy with their meals. It did get a bit busy around lunchtime, but overall we were still really pleased. Little things like a decent meal and happy kids made the day feel even more special.
